Holy freaking crap this took a long time and a lot of work.
This picture is based off of the alternate timeline that stems from Ocarina, where Link is actually defeated in the battle against Ganon, ultimately leading to A Link to the Past, the original Legend of Zelda, and others.
This picture was created in Photoshop CC and took approximately 17 hours to make. It's main purpose was to express extreme emotion in the characters.
I really hope you enjoy it!
Most of this was drawn during multiple livestream sessions. It was quite fun to work while people were watching and giving their opinions!

Ganon laughed as he watched as Zelda cries and hugged the hero's inert body.
"wake up please" Zelda whispered between sobs. "Link!"
"ha ha ha! your tears won't help him, Princess" Ganon shouted cynically. "with that stupid offside and with the Triforce in my possession not only Hyrule, but the whole world will be mine! Your father, your kingdom and your hero have fallen. kneele before me! ha ha ha ha ha!"
